When performing immunopreciptiation (IP) followed by western blotting, the denatured rabbit IgG light (25 kDa) and heavy (55 kDa) chains of the primary antibody used for IP will not be recognised by Anti-rabbit IgG for IP (HRP), improving the specificity of protein detection.
