Champagne Taq antibody is a monoclonal antibody against Taq DNA polymerase, which can inhibit the polymerization activity of Taq DNA polymerase by combining with it. Champagne Taq antibody has the superior binding affinity to Taq DNA polymerase. It can block the activity of Taq DNA polymerase even at 65℃, thereby effectively inhibiting nonspecific annealing of primers and nonspecific amplification caused by primer dimers. When Champagne Taq antibody is heated at 95℃ for 30 sec, it will be completely inactivated. Thereby, the polymerization activity of Taq DNA polymerase is totally released. This product is suitable for various hot-start PCR/qPCR based on Taq DNA polymerase.
